I'm not exactly sure what this card was for. I think it may have been my nephews birthday back in December. Unfortunately I can't even give you a breakdown of the project ingredients because I can't remember what I used! Oh well, just use it as eye candy!

I promise I'll do better in the future!

Thanks Mom!

My mommy does my taxes for me every year. Yes, I'm about to be 23 and I can't won't do my own taxes and I still call my mom mommy occasionally. Anyway, I made her this card as a thank you for being such an awesome mom/accountant.

Awful picture, right? I know, I know. I was in a hurry!

Paper: Kraft, Whisper White
Stamps: Time Well Spent
Accessories: Old Olive 5/8" Ribbon

Here is an anniversary card I recently made that turned out surprisingly well. I haven’t been crafting much lately so I thought I'd be a little rusty when I started up again. We moved back in September and I had my craft stuff packed up for a month before we moved. This is the first card I’ve made in well over two months. The layout is from Mojo Monday and the supplies are listed below.

Stamps: Happy Heart Day, Thoughts and Prayers
Paper: Kraft, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Holiday Treasures DSP
Accessories: Old Olive Ribbon, Brad from Hodgepodge Hardware
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Rose Red, Pretty In Pink, Old Olive
P.S. My watermark is lost somewhere so I'm uploading my picture as-is. Please do not steal it and try to pass it off as your own. It's not nice.

Christmas Card Idea

This is another Christmas card idea using Merry & Bright that I completely cased from someone on SCS but of course I forgot to save the link again! I like to case Christmas cards to get my mind going on them and then usually I figure out my main design later.

Paper: Soft Sky, Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Real Red, Whisper White
Stamps: Merry & Bright
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Real Red, Old Olive, Certainly Celery, River Rock
Accessories: 5/8" Real Red Ribbon

Christmas Card Idea

I am planning on using the Merry & Bright stamp set for my Christmas cards this year, but I can't decide on what design to use. Last year I did all one design. I guess I could do a few different designs this year, we'll have to see! I completely cased this card from photobug on SCS. I really loved her design and colors and I didn't see the need to change anything!

Paper: Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky, Whisper White
Stamps: Merry & Bright
Ink: Soft Sky, Stazon Jet Black, Old Olive, Real Red
Accessories: Paper Piercer

Thankful Card

I just ordered the Thoroughly Thankful set and the Autumn Vine DSP! I had wanted to order this set last year but didn't get a chance to so I was glad they brought it back this year. I cased the layout and basic idea from a card on SCS. Of course I didn't think to save the link to the card but if I find it again I'll post it.

I absolutely LOVE that autumn vine paper!! It's gorgeous! So if you haven't ordered it yet, I suggest you do!

Paper: Autumn Vine DSP, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Confetti White
Ink: Chocolate Chip, various Earth Elements markers
Stamps: Thoroughly Thankful
Accessories: Bronze brad

I'm back!

I haven't done much crafting over the summer and that's why I've neglected my blog. But I'm back now and hopefully I'll get back to some regular creating and posting!

So here is what I made for my friend Caitlin's baby shower! I love how they came out and everyone really enjoyed them.

I made the nugget boxes using a template from Splitcoaststampers.com. The bottom is made out of a light blue textured cardstock and the top slider part is made of clear acetate. I printed the labels with the letters in certainly celery and bashful blue on the printer and wrapped them around the nuggets. Then I tied the ribbon around the boxes and attached a thank you tag with a small jump ring.

They were pretty simple but a little time consuming... especially because I made 100 of them!

Cardstock: Light blue textured (from a local stamp store)
Ink: Blue Bayou
Stamps: Fiskars Baby Stamps from ACMoore
Ribbon: 3/8" satin ribbon an exact match to Certainly Celery but from ACMoore
Accessories: Clear Acetate sheets
